• Description: Native to the lands of South America - Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, and Venezuela - this perennial isn't related AT ALL to watermelons or begonias. Don't let the name fool you - it's all about the shape, markings, and feel of the leaves! Peperomia Watermelon grows to a modest 20 cm tall with asymmetrical, oval-shaped green leaves sporting curved silver stripes and red stems. In summer, tiny green flower spikes add a pop of color.
