This handcrafted diary, with its leather exterior, serves as a dramatic alternative to usually mundane stationery items. Papermaking for each of its leaves involves suspending fibres of upcycled fabric in water and dislodging them through a sieve-like screen which interweaves the fibres. Subsequently, the water is drained off to attain a strong sheet of paper. Obtaining this diary not only offers a vintage vibe to be appreciated, but also facilitates the sustainability of Indian artisans who made it, providing them with a sustainable livelihood.
